Membership Terms

II. MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS: ACCESS & OPERATIONAL PROTOCOL

2.1 Binding Agreement

This Membership Terms and Conditions agreement (the "Terms") constitutes a legally binding contract between The Vault (the "Terminal") and the individual successfully completing the Membership Intake process (the "Member"). Access to the private marketplace and the "Operational Overview" is contingent upon strict adherence to these protocols.

2.2 Eligibility & Authorized Access

  • Age Requirement: Access is strictly limited to individuals of legal drinking age (21+ in the United States).

  • Vetting Process: Membership is granted at the sole discretion of The Vault following a review of the Membership Intake application.

  • Non-Transferability: Membership status, login credentials, and "Vault Keys" (passwords) are strictly personal and non-transferable.

2.3 Credential Security & "Vault Key" Integrity

  • Password Protocols: Members are required to maintain a secure password ("Vault Key") consisting of at least eight (8) characters, including one (1) uppercase letter, one (1) numerical digit, and one (1) special character.

  • Security Monitoring: The Terminal utilizes advanced gatekeeping software and bot protection (including hCaptcha and Locksmith protocols) to monitor for unauthorized access attempts.

  • Breach Notification: Members must immediately notify the Concierge of any suspected compromise of their account credentials.

2.4 Acquisition & Allocation Rules

  • Operational Overview: All successful acquisitions are logged within the Member's Operational Overview portal for the purposes of tracking invoices and asset history.

  • Allocation Limits: To ensure equitable access to rare spirit assets, The Vault reserves the right to impose strict "Allocation Limits" on high-demand bottles.

  • Anti-Flipping Policy: The Vault is a restricted marketplace for collectors and enthusiasts; any Member found to be immediately liquidating acquired assets on secondary markets or auction houses may face permanent revocation of status.

2.5 Prohibited Automated Activity

  • Bot Restriction: The use of automated scripts, "bots," or third-party software to gain an advantage during a release or to bypass security gates is strictly prohibited.

  • System Integrity: Any attempt to "hack" the terminal, scrape data, or interfere with the server-side operations of the vault will result in legal action and immediate termination.

2.6 Termination of Membership

  • Discretionary Revocation: The Vault reserves the right to terminate any Membership at any time, with or without notice, for a violation of these Terms or for behavior deemed detrimental to the community.

  • Effect of Termination: Upon termination, all access to the private collection and the Member's order history may be permanently disabled.

2.7 Governing Law & Indemnification

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Vault operates. Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Vault and its parent companies from any claims resulting from the Member's breach of these security protocols.
